Concurrently, the advantages of the vaccines are more than the risk they can cause. The CDC also stated that it had taken note that patients with heart inflammation post getting inoculated recover from the symptoms and get back to their routine.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Simultaneously, in a statement, the U.S. Department of Health And Human Services retreated that vaccines are safe, effective and termed that the heart condition linked to the vaccines is extremely rare.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This news impacted the share value of both companies. While BioNTech SE &#8211; ADR<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">shares fell 1.4%, Moderna Inc<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">shares closed down 4.2%.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a BioNTech SE &#8211; ADR statement, the company clarified that it is aware of reports of possible myocarditis and pericarditis post the mRNA vaccination. The statement added that the benefit-risk profile of the BioNTech SE &#8211; ADR<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">vaccine remains positive. The vaccine manufactured by the company has received a go-ahead from the American government to be administered to Americans who are as young as 12 years old.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Moderna Inc is aware of cases of heart inflammation post-vaccination\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A source from Moderna Inc<\/span> <span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">stated that the company is aware of reports of the cases of heart inflammation caused after having the mRNA vaccine administered. The source added that the company is working closely with the concerned authorities in this regard.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In the backdrop of the respective reports surfacing in the media, health officials and medical professionals in several parts of the globe are investigating if the vaccines from the two companies which use the latest mRNA technology are a risk.
