It did not commence new installations as of May 10, 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Microsoft commenced its BaaS (Azure Blockchain as a Service) in 2015 with initial support for ConsenSys by offering Ethereum Platform. The company provided a preview of the lab environment in DevTest Labs of Azure in January 2016. It allows the Blockchain-related services\/ partners\u00a0to decouple their blockchain technology from VM (Virtual Machines).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Availability of certified blockchain marketplace<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The initial target of Microsoft\u2019s Azure BaaS is to ensure the availability of a certified blockchain marketplace. It focused on adding all kinds of blockchain partners instead of selecting potential winners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bitcoin (BTC) is based on blockchain technology. The shared ledger \u2013 blockchain stores complete history of kinds of transaction records rather than cryptocurrency alone. Therefore, several enterprises such as finance and banking showed interest in the Azure BaaS.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Customers of Azure BaaS<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">After offering the preview of its Azure Baas, Microsoft did not put in significant efforts to update the service. The product page of Microsoft Azure BaaS shows clients like Singapore Airlines, J.P. Morgan, GE, Xbox and Starbucks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">According to the documentation of Microsoft, its users started migrating to alternatives. The users can choose ConsenSys QBS (Quorum Blockchain Service) for their business needs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Unveils free virtual student workshops<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is essential to engage the students with innovative ways of learning every year.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The educators can create workshops and new activities to engage the students in the summer. Microsoft has come up with its share of offering help to the students to update their learning skills.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Microsoft decided to offer several free virtual student workshops, activities, and events to motivate and inspire students besides helping them hone up their skills and knowledge.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><i>Innovative coding workshops:<\/i><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Microsoft helps students know how video games are developed and learn coding for their game taking inspiration from Space Jam. Bugs Bunny and LeBron James\u00a0are the leading roles in the video game \u2013 Space Jam.
