They undertake their demonstration in some fulfillment centers countrywide. They say that the continued working continues to pose an immense danger to their health and wellness in the face of the COVID-19 scourge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Poor working conditions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The workers have forwarded claims wanting the business guru to recognize that they are lacking in terms of sufficient safety precautions. They have also cast blame on the company outlining that they lack confidence in the transparency surrounding the coronavirus testing the company has been conducting.<\/p>\n<p>Monday came with bad news after it was reported that some of the workers in Chicago and Staten Island had tested positive to COVID-19. This caused Amazon employees in the above locations to strike.<\/p>\n<p>It did not stop there! On Wednesday, the company&#8217;s employees working in the Romulus and Michigan facilities were reported to have stopped working. One common demand was that the company closes down some of its workplaces temporarily to facilitate deep cleaning.<\/p>\n<p>It has been a troubling time for Amazon having to deal with one challenge after the other.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amazon blamed over negligence<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The business guru also received complaints that it had been negligent in the way it dealt with the deadly virus. Workers said that it had not been giving them updates about COVID-19 on time. The workers added that they were struggling when it came to obtaining cleaning products and health care during difficult times. It is a moment of crisis that is putting Amazon&#8217;s management on the edge as it grapples with other issues such as a drop in business revenues.<\/p>\n<p>It was a short while back that the business giant resorted to terminating the services of Christian Smalls. This is an employee that has been working with the company and he is believed to have orchestrated the walk-off at Staten Island.
