Similarly, the measures should ensure the retailers continue to operate for the foreseeable future, especially on other retail outlets freaking out and suspending operations.<\/p>\n<p>In keeping up with the social distancing policy, Target has deployed personnel within its outlets to ensure customers are at least six feet apart from each other. In addition, the retailer has deployed personnel tasked with the responsibility of cleaning checkout lanes after every transaction.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, the retailer will no longer accept any reusable plastic bags from customers as part of the latest effort of curbing the spread of COVID-19.\u00a0 Target has also suspended product returns, which could also carry the virus into its stores in some cases.<\/p>\n<p>In a bid to control traffic within its stores and ensure the social distancing policy works, Target CEO, Anthony Fauci, has confirmed they will continue with the door drops programs. The same-day delivery service is already a hit at a time when people are opting for options that minimize interactions or movements in the outside.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Kroger Installs Plexiglas<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Kroger, on its part, has resorted to installing Plexiglas within its brick and mortar registers as part of an effort of ensuring customers adhere to the six feet social distancing policy.\u00a0 The windows will also be installed at Starbucks checkouts as part of an effort of ensuring people maintain a safe distance to avert a further spread of the virus.<\/p>\n<p>It is, however, unclear whether Target will install Plexiglas windows, as well within its stores.
