According to the executive, the social media leader would provide users with the opportunity to clear their history at will. The users of the platform had to wait for months before this rollout. Facebook will start its activities in Ireland, South Korea, and eventually Spain.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Roll out in the three countries<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The social media giant says they are starting with the first three countries but will soon make way to others. That may be over the next few months. The latest tool will make it possible for Facebook users to gain control over their data privacy. Users have, over the years, had different opinions regarding the advertiser&#8217;s targeting activities over their interests. This might be changing soon, placing advertisers on the losing end.<\/p>\n<p>The clear history tool may soon be arriving in your country. It will pull along as part of a service named \u201cOff-Facebook activity.\u201d Upon opening it, user will be able to check out all the websites and the apps that track what you do online. Such apps and websites usually send reports back to Facebook, which in turn uses the information for the ad targeting purposes. A simple tap on the \u201cclear history\u201d button you will have you dissociate your target information.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Facebook to making users a priority<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Facebook will go further to give you the option to block the companies you need to keep off. This will see to it that such companies do not report the data they track about you to the company. The changes are about improving conditions for users in the future.<\/p>\n<p>Users will, in a few minutes, be able to discard all the off-Facebook browsing data. Asides from that, they will also be in the position to disconnect the data they need to do away from particular websites and apps.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook has revealed its reasons for the slow rollout of the product.
