In a <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.aboutamazon.com\/operations\/free-returns-with-no-box-tape-or-label-needed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">blog post<\/a>, the online retail giant said it has agreed with partners to make the return process easy.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Free, no-box returns<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The partnership will enable customers to return goods without having to box them. Goods which are eligible for a return will only be deposited at select stores which are participating in the offer.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the return points include all physical Amazon stores across the country. These include Amazon 4-star, Amazon Books, Amazon Hub Locker+, and AmazonFresh Pickup. Other participating locations are Kohl\u2019s (NYSE: KSS), The UPS store, and Whole Foods Markets.<\/p>\n<p>The return process consists of five steps. First, the customer will access the return center page online. Here, one will select the most preferred location, like Amazon Books for instance. Thirdly, the customer will receive an email with a QR code from Amazon.<\/p>\n<p>From here, all one needs to do is to go the chosen location with the item(s) and present them to the staffers. One will be able to be easily assisted if they show the QR code. Lastly, the store will package and put a label on the item which it will then ship, all of this not for a penny.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>A service like no other<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Michelle Gass, CEO of Kohl\u2019s, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/money\/2019\/07\/08\/kohls-stores-now-accepting-amazon-returns-no-box-required\/1629966001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">emphasized<\/a> the significance of this program. Notably, Gass said it would be thrilling to accept returns on behalf of Amazon especially during the annual shopping sprees of Prime Day.<\/p>\n<p>This means that Amazon customers across 48 US states can access return points at over 1,100 locations. As per Gass, the returns program makes for the hugest so far initiative for 2019. It is simply a service like no other, she added.<\/p>\n<p>Significantly, Amazon customers will no longer have to endure ridiculously long lines at few locations like the post office waiting to return an item.
