It will be about ensuring that each one of the content creators gets compensated in the fairest way possible.<\/p>\n<p>The company attests to the fact that it has been encountering rather stiff competition from Flixxo, Viuly and Streamspace. They have over the years focused on the development of pretty similar concepts and they have received a $20 million vote of confidence\u00a0from Zhenfund which happens to be a Chinese seed investor. That happened today during a private token sale.<\/p>\n<p>An official working with the company has moved ahead to give an in-depth explanation regarding the company\u2019s mission. It outlined that YouTube\u00a0held \u2018enormus power\u2019 over creators and was now keener, more than ever in profit maximization and it goes without saying that could potentially bring it into serious conflict with its actual creators.<\/p>\n<p>One notable aspect is the fact that the solution is what it takes to come up with a collectively owned, decentralized means of distribution. The goal is to ensure all content value is distributed to the various affiliated contributors and content creators in a more direct way. That is without necessarily having to move through the privately owned entity as a middleman.<\/p>\n<p>It has been disclosed by one of the company\u2019s officials that the LINO tokens will be operating as the systems currency. It is set to be earned via both the sharing and the creation of content. He went further to talk about the development of applications and infrastructure on top of the Lino blockchain.<\/p>\n<p>He <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coindesk.com\/lino-raises-20-million-youtube-fight\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>, &#8220;We believe in decentralized, peer-to-peer [content delivery networks (CDN)], but current projects seem not ready for stability and costs.
