In addition to the new patent, Microbot Medical also reported a new filing with the USPTO, this time a Continuation Application to further enhance and establish its innovative solutions for combating the medical condition. The new patent covers methods and systems designed to reduce venous stenosis which is related to the use of hemodialysis shunts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cExpanding and protecting our innovative technology platforms is one of the main focus areas of the Company, especially as we expect significant milestones in the coming months for our initial Self Cleaning Shunt\u2122 product,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/globenewswire.com\/news-release\/2017\/06\/14\/1018610\/0\/en\/Microbot-Medical-Inc-Continues-to-Solidify-IP-Portfolio-with-US-Patent-for-Previously-Disclosed-Device-for-Preventing-Shunt-Stenosis.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">stated<\/a> Microbot Medical\u2019s chairman and CEO, Harel Gadot.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The CEO also pointed out that the company\u2019s innovative technology platforms place the company at a better position to take advantage of the lucrative opportunities in the market. Gadot believes that the technologies that Microbot Medical owns have a significant lead in the micro-robotics curve. Additionally, the revenue from the company\u2019s recently concluded equity offering provide the resources necessary for taking advantages of the market opportunities.
