Aemetis managed to get this ranking due to its achievements in the bioeconomy and committing to develop the commertial implementation of new technologies that will control greenhouse gas emissions (GHG), and replacing traditional petroleum products by producing low carbon sophisticated low carbon biofuels.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eric McAfee, the Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Aemetis, was also rewarded as one of Biofuels Digest&#8217;s Top 100 People.
