The provision of two high power satellites by Space Systems\/Loral, LLC will give radio the more than 30.6 million subscribers across North America a different and enhanced feeling. The SXM-7 and SXM-8 which will be replacingXM-3 and XM-4 satellites will come into practical use in 2019 and 2020 respectively. President of SSL, John Celli says that North Americans can now access an unparalleled variety of audio entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>It is not the first time that SSL is building satellites for SiriusXM. The two have enjoyed an extraordinary working relationship in the development of the world\u2019s most advanced satellites with seven of them being launched in 2000. Hence the reason SSL has been selected again to provide reinforcement to SiriusXM.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the next generation satellites<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>SXM-7 and SXM-8 are equipped with a large with a well spread out antenna reflector. They have continued reliability in terms of delivery of SiriusXM\u2019s audio entertainment and data services. \u00a0Bridget Neville, the vice president of satellite and global engineering and operations at SiriusXM says that they feel honored to collaborate with SSL.
