Investors in company are &#8220;skittish&#8221; about GoPro&#8217;s ability to deal with the competition from <strong>Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)<\/strong> which has upgraded the iPhone camera to get more high resolution video.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are some analysts that consider Apple could acquire GoPro in the coming period. However, an independent research firm, Vertical Group said the tech giant has adequate resources to develop the product in-house. Expressing the views on Vertical&#8217;s take on probable Apple acquisition of GoPro, Mr. Jon Lopez, the research head of Vertical, said that he would ascribe 0% chance.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The buzz<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In unrelated news, GoPro disclosed the limited availability of Odyssey. It is a 16-camera rig designed for <strong>Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL)<\/strong> \u2018s virtual reality platform, \u201cJump\u201d, using company\u2019s Odyssey Limited Access Plan. The professional producers and content designers can participate and get an Odyssey rig to be offered later this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">First revealed at annual developer conference, named as Google I\/O, Odyssey offers 360-degree camera view for obtaining stereoscopic 3D content. Its features list includes gen-lock camera synchronization, more battery life and multi-camera control to remove challenges noticed by content creators at the front line of immersive content capture.
