Recently the company had launched its new Hero4 Session\u00a0$400 camera that is just a size of the ice cube, but this isn\u2019t selling very well. The camera with just a single button was created on an idea of ultraportable device, but the company\u2019s Finance Chief, Jack Lazar\u00a0believes that GoPro is experiencing a tough time in making Session\u2019s sales worthy; especially in comparison to its other popular brands like Silver and Hero4Black cameras.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>GoPro to witness a challenging Q4 2015<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With all this, Mr. Lazar speculates that the company is most likely to witness a challenging fourth quarter in the present year. Generally, this quarter accounts for over 40% of the annual sales of GoPro. In the last quarter, GoPro is planning to swell its expenditure on Session\u2019s marketing and advertising, which might increase its operating expenses. Also, the company is expected to slash the camera prices. Meanwhile, Ambarella, the major chip supplier of GoPro has also suggested that there is no more camera launch scheduled for this year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Death knell for GoPro revolving across selling Session?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Despite all this, it is expected that challenges in increasing the sale of new device are not much of death knell for GoPro. It has already made a sale of approximately 6.5 million cameras in past 12 months, an increase of 64% on YoY basis.
