(NASDAQ:AAPL)<\/strong> is developing Haptic Feedback and Touch Technology for the next iPhone interface according to an unrevealed source.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apple has already introduced the Force Touch feature on its latest gadget, the Apple Watch. Tech experts speculate that the two features might also premiere on the new iPhone 6S that is expected to debut this summer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Force Touch works by using sensory inputs to detect to detect pressure, for example, devices with the feature can detect when more pressure is applied onto the touch surface. The system works by detecting a wider surface area when more pressure is applied. It then reacts via haptic feedback such as a tap. The effect makes users feel as if they are pressing a physical button.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apple&#8217;s latest MacBook laptops already have the features built into their trackpads. Users expect Apple to soon introduce Force Touch and Haptic Feedback to its other devices. The features could bring a whole new set of utilities on the iPhones. Some of the functions of the devices that are most likely to be influenced by force touch are the start screen functions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Force Touch might also be instrumental in simplifying the iPhone interface by reducing the functionality buttons. For example, changing animations or the backdrop image. The features might also be combined with the haptic feedback engine to enhance gesture functionalities. Apple calls it &#8220;the tactic feedback engine.&#8221; It is located just beneath the touch screen, and it makes the devices vibrate to alert users of any incoming notifications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">So far, it has not been confirmed whether Force Touch will be available on the iPhone 6S. The company did, however, report that Foxconn expects the shipment of pressure sensors to escalate by 4.8 times in 2015. The spike might be an indicator that Apple Inc.
