On Sunday, he revealed that <strong>Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)<\/strong> will launch its long-awaited music streaming service at its developers conference in San Francisco on Monday where it is expected to give a detailed briefing about its new music streaming service. When queried about the service, Morris replied that it&#8217;s happening tomorrow amidst of a conversation at Midem, a music industry conference in Cannes, France. The confirmation comes after days of speculation regarding Apple&#8217;s Spotify competitor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Morris did not elaborate on the features or price of the forthcoming Apple music service. However, according to certain sources, the streaming service comes with two tiers. The first will be free with curated stations and original programming, an extension of Apple&#8217;s ITunes Radio service. The second tier will be paid with a $10 monthly subscription fee for on-demand music streaming. The firm is also expected to re-launch its iTunes Radio services.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apple earlier acquired Beats, the headphone maker and streaming firm owned by Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine for $3 billion the last year. Apple is also feverishly working to clinch licensing deals with leading record labels Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group and Sony Corp (ADR) (NYSE:SNE). The Cupertino-based company has experienced the shrinking of the digital downloads business as consumers have switched to streaming firms like Spotify.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Morris referred to the service as &#8220;<em>Apple Music<\/em>&#8220;. Morris believes that the changes in music streaming service herald the start of an amazing moment for the industry.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Morris listed multiple advantages that Apple had over its paid streaming competitors.
