(NASDAQ:AAPL)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL)<\/strong> and <strong>Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL)<\/strong> have both been in the tech and software industry for a considerable duration. One might wonder how the two would fair if they were analyzed to find out which company is better.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The two companies have ties to the computer and mobile device world and are the leading giants when it comes to smartphone operating systems and other online services. This is just a tip of the iceberg of things that both firms have in common. As much as both have similarities, there are also many differences that have contributed in a major way to define each company.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Google and Apple have different income earning strategies. Apple&#8217;s strategy involves monetizing most of its services and charging for its products. Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL), on the other hand, provides most of its products and services to users for free then gathers information from these users. The information is then used to offer extra services which the company uses to earn revenue.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A good example is online data backup services. Apple charges for its cloud storage services while Google doesn&#8217;t. Well, at least for a certain amount of data. It is more of a situation where the when the customers are not paying they become the product.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There are various advantages and disadvantages of these different approaches. Most people think that Google is superior to Apple because its services are monetized. However, that is not the case. Apple has one mobile phone brand, the iPhone while Google endorses its operating systems to a wide range of devices from different companies. This gives Google the edge as its devices are far reaching. Additionally these devices range from premium mobile devices to more affordable ones, unlike the iPhone, which is a premium device.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) is thus able to reach a significantly wider demography while Apple\u2019s mobile success is usually pegged on the loyalty of premium device users.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In terms of privacy, Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is usually more sensitive towards its customer&#8217;s private data, unlike Google, which puts a lot of emphasis on collecting user data.
