The new dashboard service will give users a series of safety settings designed to enhance the security of their online data as well as boosting the level of privacy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Google claims that \u201cMy account\u201d will allow user access to the settings and tolls that they can adjust to their preferred standards. Google product manager, Guemmy Kim also added that the service will include some extra content to guide users in their selection, so they do not end up making the wrong decisions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0The dashboard was announced during a Google I\/O conference that took place in San Francisco about a week ago. Some of the features that the dashboard service will host include a security protocol and privacy review. These features will allow users to have a better perception of how their information is being put to use as well as how and when they may appear susceptible.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The service also includes some ads settings that allow users to customize their ads, according to their searches. This feature is particularly useful in a case where users share their devices to limit unwanted ads.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">More to that, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL) has created a privacy site to accompany the service. The site was created as a support tower or users to post their queries or grievances about the collection and use of their private data. Google\u2019s decision to enhance security measures partly reflects the push for Silicon Valley giant, Facebook to tighten security protocols for users a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Users are getting more sensitive about the privacy of their data and thus the need to refine the protocols.
