He suddenly noticed a van turning towards him, and he thought it might run over him.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The van did hit Kevin and fell on the pavement. But he managed to stand up and walk over to the house. There were no bruises or injuries on his body. It seems he was unharmed. But after two hours at home, he started vomiting and admitted to the hospital immediately.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The doctors at the hospital took CT scans and noticed internal bleeding in the brain. If he was not immediately admitted to the hospital and brain surgery was not performed he could have died within two hours or brain dead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The doctors meticulously performed brain surgery and saved the life of Kevin. When he awoke after two hours of the surgery, he could not resist taking selfie and post it on Facebook with a caption \u201cBig Day\u201d. He then revealed to the surgeons that he had no health insurance policy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He has shared significant moments of his life with graduates of Boston 2015 in an inauguration speech on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He said, &#8220;When I regained consciousness after brain surgery, I saw my family and wife my bedside.&#8221; He immediately took selfie and shared through Facebook with all of his friends saying thanks to being alive. But, he exclaimed, he could change nothing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Kevin further said the best possible way to measure success in life is to have no regrets.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While addressing the graduates, he said he wishes no one should ever get hit by a bus.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At the time of an accident, he was involved in mobilizing funds for a startup Slow Ventures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">He was one of the first ten employees at Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB). He was personally involved and developed an ad sales team.
