Most people did not know that James Franco once worked for the fast food company. Well, he did.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Franco worked at one of McDonald\u2019s outlets for only three months. However that three months was enough for him to write a 950- word article in defense of the company that has been struggling in its respective market where it was once king.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is hard to imagine that the academy award nominee once worked at McDonalds. But then again we all start somewhere. But could his support for the adding giant influence any positive changes? Well, we have seen things sell out just because a celebrity tried them out, so it is not impossible. But only time will reveal the fate of the company.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">James Franco had a lot to say about the company. He started out with a narration of his time in the company\u2019s kitchen. He confessed that he used to add salt to the fries to suit his liking though he doesn\u2019t know if anyone ever complained that they were over salted. He went on to remind people of the days when taking a bite from the company\u2019s fast food joints was a culture and a thing to be proud of.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Oscar nominee definitely wants the fast food chains to recover, and he is not the only one. Earlier in the week, the company made headlines when McDonald&#8217;s Corporation (NYSE:MCD) new CEO Steve Easterbrook reported his concerns about the company\u2019s need to get back its former glory or at least improve its performance. Surprisingly, his plans for improvement are focused on the company\u2019s management structure rather than customer service and the quality of foods offered.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Franco cited that part of the reason for the company\u2019s unimpressive performance was the fact that people cannot trust the quality of meat. He came to this conclusion after reading \u201cFast food nation\u201d despite the fact that he only eats there once a year, James Franco says he supports the company\u2019s strategy and hopes it will be successful.
