This will give the developers an opportunity to see which selection will provide the best results.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">But the question still remains, how do they do that and what is the trick because to the person shopping for an application, there is usually one catalogue. Having the capacity to operate the different sets of catalogues will give developers an opportunity to identify most if not all of the aspects that influence sales and most importantly the number of downloads.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Some of the tricks which developers can incorporate is manipulation of the screen shots by rearranging them. Another trick involves assigning different prices. This allows developers to determine whether a higher or lower price will do better and which price will bring in more sales volume. This strategy is very instrumental in determining the pricing for the applications.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The influence of alpha and beta testing will not be limited to the number of downloads. The number of applications available on Play Store is ever increasing, thus resulting into phenomenal growth for the store. This fast growth rate increases the chances of an application catalogue to be found on both the Store and on general internet searches. This is just one of the strategies that are aimed at increasing the visibility of the applications to the potential users in the world.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The current testing methods are not as effective. This is because developers would test out an application catalogue for a fixed duration contrary to the new method where they will run concurrently. The disadvantage with the current method is that volatile situations within the time window of testingmay result in less than accurate finding for the developers.
