The company reported that it will include a middle finger emoji in its Windows 10 operating systems that support both mobile devices and computers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The technology giant that is based in the United States claimed that the emoji will be available together with the Windows 10 platform that will be available later on this year. The company is happy that it could be the first among its competitors to introduce the emoji.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company has even gone further in an effort to cater to everyone by including different color textures to the emoji options. Microsoft claims that the color textures are meant to offer diversity, but we all know it is a clever idea to avoid ethnic criticism.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This is however not the first time that the middle finger emoji has come up. It was introduced in 2014 and was only available through a Unicode update. Unicode is the code which allows texts to look similar in different operating platforms. This means that the other companies like Google and Apple will have to update their software if they want to include the emoji as it is.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Unicode will allow users operating devices with different operating systems to receive the emoji in the same format or while looking the same<strong>. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)<\/strong> and <strong>Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOGL)<\/strong> had had added a few more emoji icons following their most recent updates this year. However, the middle finger icon was not among the new icons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The tech giant has additional plans to make more modifications to the emoji for the Windows 8.1 operating system. This new addition to the emoji family will allow users to have a laugh while they include it in their conversation. It has rather become more of a thing to laugh about as opposed to its offensive nature.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Critics contemplate what this new move could mean for the company in terms of user interface popularity.
