Alexander \u2018Sandy\u2019 Douglas Jr., who currently serves as the Senior VP and President Coca-Cola North America to Executive VP. The board also promoted Dr. Ed Hays who is currently the VP and Chief Technical Officer to Senior VP. In addition, the board also appointed two new VP\u2019s- Kelly Johnstone and Julie Hamilton.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Douglas has been the senior VP and President North America since January 1, 2014. He joined the company in 1988 as a District Sales Manager. He has held many positions of senior leadership within Coca-Cola. Douglas started his career at Procter and Gamble working in a variety of management and sales positions before joining Coca-Cola.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hays has been the Chief Technical Officer of Coca-Cola since March 1 and was previously the VP Global Science Regulatory and Formula Governance. He joined the company in 1985 in the R&amp;D division and has since climbed the ladder within the company. He was selected the VP in 2000.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hamilton became the Chief Customer and Commercial Leadership Officer on April 1. She joined the company in 2996 and has held a variety of positions. She studied at the London\u2019s Imperial College of Science and Economics.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Johnstone has been appointed the VP Strategic Security effective May 1. She has more than 30 years of experience. She joined Coca-Cola in 2000. She has climbed through the ladder in the company and before joining Coca-Cola was with the USFDA.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Board of Directors of Coca-Cola also declared a dividend of 33 cents per common share. The dividend will be payable on July 1, 2015. The dividend marks the 53rd consecutive time the annual dividend has been increased. The current increase is increased to 33 cents from earlier 30.5 cents per common share.
