The company announced its decision to buy Cervalis on Tuesday. The acquisition was worth was worth $400 million cash.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The acquisition will be very beneficial to CyrusOne as it will give the company an additional two recovery accommodations as well as four data centers. The new additional facilities will help increase and improve the company\u2019s operations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Speaking with regards to the acquisition, Brian Pryor who is a managing director of an investment bank said that the venture was a positive one. He backed his inference with the statement that the acquisition would give CyrusOne an opportunity to expand its market base. He also added that it would give the company a more diverse customer base.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Frederick Moran described the company&#8217;s recent purchase as a bargaining chip. He concluded that the acquisition made CyrusOne more eligible and attractive to companies looking to carry out a takeover. Part of why the firm was regarded as attractive as a takeover was because of its promising nature.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company is doing well, and it shows potential for long-term success and continued existence. The data-center operator has also been successful in the metropolitan market. This makes the firm the ideal takeover.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Due to its current competitive nature the company would fetch a handsome sum from any acquirer in case it gets to that. CyrusOne Inc (NASDAQ:CONE) is currently worth about $1.7 billion. If the company can secure an acquisition for $40 per share, it will fetch about $2.1 billion from its outstanding 53 million shares.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Potentially lucrative mergers would include the company joining with the likes of Core Site Reality and QTS realty trust. The two would especially be advantageous because there would be no overlap.
