(NASDAQ:AMZN)<\/strong> is ushering in Amazon Business. The latter is a new marketplace exclusively for businesses boasting of hundreds of millions of products, bulk discounts and free two day shipping for orders exceeding $49.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new site will be in place for AmazonSupply. The latter is Amazon&#8217;s present marketplace featuring industrial products as well as office supplies. Beginning today, the firm will commence transitioning enterprises off the old site and into Amazon Business.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>About AmazonSupply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">AmazonSupply was first introduced in April 2012 with 500,000 products targeted at industrial contractors, sanitation workers, lab scientists, auto repairmen, plumbers amid other labor intensive jobs. Today the site has an impressive 2.25 million products. Although AmazonSupply focuses on business as well as contractors, anybody can book products on the site.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Registration and vetting is compulsory<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">For gaining entry to Amazon Business, purchasers need to register their firms and be subject to a vetting process. Running an enterprise only marketplace empowers Amazon to associate with sellers that only vend to enterprises unlocking a broad spectrum of products. The strategy also lets Amazon increase the types of enterprises it can service. On Amazon Business approved purchases have reach encompassing hundreds of millions of products. Also, enterprises can avail of bulk discounts and deals denied to the general customers. Keeping with Amazon tradition purchasers can compare product rates to get the best offer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Amazon Business aligns to enterprise requirements in other ways too. For instance when an enterprise owner is logged in to the site, he\/she will see products relevant to his\/her vertical on the homepage. Advertising will be appropriate to the enterprise. Tax exemptions will be included. Similar to AmazonSupply instructional product videos will be available to business account holders.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) is experimenting with a feature named Live Experts, which will come up later this week.
