As per the <a href=\"http:\/\/investor.stemcellsinc.com\/phoenix.zhtml?c=86230&amp;p=irol-newsArticle&amp;ID=2039916\">reports<\/a>, the pricing of the underwritten public offering of warrants and common stock shares will help it raise $25 million, which will be used for corporate activities.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Road Ahead: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company has decided to offer $0.70 for one warrant and one share of common stock with an objective to purchase three-quarters of a share of common stock. The warrants carry a price of $0.85 per share and available to exercise immediately. As per the reports, they will expire after five years from the date of issuance. StemCells anticipates that the total proceeds from this offering will mount $25 million. This estimation is before deducting underwriting commissions, discounts and other expenses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company has also granted the underwriters an option to buy 5.35 million additional shares of common stock within the 30 days timeline. They can also opt to for warrants to purchase additional 4.01 million shares of common stock to cover any over-allotment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The management expects to close this offering latest by April 29, 2015, provided all the customary closing conditions are fulfilled. StemCells has decided to appoint Maxim Group LLC as the sole book-running manager for this transaction. It has also appointed Chardan Capital Markets as the co-manager for the offering.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">StemCells Inc (NASDAQ:STEM) will look forward to using the proceeds from this offering for the general corporate purposes such as capital expenditures, working capital, and Research &amp; Development activities. These securities are being made available by accompanying prospectus and prospectus supplements. As per the report, investors can download the copies of both the documents from the official website of Security Exchange Commission as soon as they are made available.
