The company reported that they are developing a new Algorithm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new algorithm is supposed to give people the chance to see more posts from their friends. At the same time, it will also make it increasingly difficult for businesses to increase traffic through posts that are not paid for. The tweaked algorithm is part of a long-term strategy to display more significant information. The aim is to reduce the number of marketing pitches that show up on a news feed. Most of them are usually irrelevant to most Facebookers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">New changes expected from the tweak on the news feed include taking down the regulation where users would not see numerous posts from the same source. News feeds will now support a higher ranking for photos and videos from friends. The notifications or likes will also be reduced. Prioritization has undergone changes and thus posts like stories will receive less priority.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The changes made to Facebook\u2019s news feeds were as a result of a survey that the company carried out to establish how people rated news feeds. The results suggested that most people are annoyed by stories about people liking or commenting to posts.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The new changes are obviously not good news to certain groups. Community groups and businesses will not be able to reach wide audiences anymore unless they pay for the posts. Initially, news feeds have been a great marketing place for businesses. The move will probably be good for both users and the company. Less annoying notifications and potentially more incomes for Facebook. It&#8217;s a win-win situation unless we put businesses paying for the ads into the mix.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is not all good news because there is a chance that posts on news feed will probably not reach as many users as intended.
