This has seen a 0.5% rise in the S&amp;P 500 share index above its previous record. <strong>Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC)<\/strong> performance went up while energy firms followed pursuit with oil companies reaching an all-time high.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Intel shares went up by 4.3% which was a higher value than analysts had predicted for the second quarter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Energy firms also felt the increments as the performance in the stock market reached the highest level experienced within the past five months. <strong>Delta Air Lines, Inc. (NYSE:DAL)<\/strong> also went up by 2.6% following their report of unanticipated profits. Netflix also recorded a 12% rise in late trade, which was boosted by a rapid increase in subscribers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The S&amp;P 500 gained by 0.5% to rest at 2,106.63 points, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained by 0.4% to rest at 75.91 points. Nasdaq closed at 5000 points after a 0.7% rise while the Russell 2000 Index gained by 0.8%.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Bill Schultz stated that less government influence might have something to do with the improved performance. He also said that the companies began the financial year with low expectations. The effect has also been carried forward, with equity indexes from Europe and Asia also experiencing new record improvements within the past few days.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Decreasing oil prices was a major source of concern for the companies as they were faced with the threat of lowered prices. This has been the reason the Index was experiencing constant fluctuations for the past few months, with the biggest drop recorded at 3.6% in March. The S&amp;P 500 companies are making considerations to increase their rates so as to secure their corporate earnings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The index was previously recorded at an average of 52 points and regularly falling below the forecast information from different fields. This led to concerns about the performance and profitability.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The rapid changes and advancements that have occurred in the biotechnology industry and internet stocks play a big role in influencing the performance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>2015 marks improved performance so far for the American Stock market.
