The process saw the company reduce its debt obligations by 80%, a move that has consequently enhanced its liquidity levels that it hopes will have an impact on its day to day operations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>New Credit Line Financing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company\u2019s CEO, Sophocles Zoullas, maintains that Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc. (NASDAQ:EGLE) remains stable more than ever with a fleet of 45 vessels and a best-in-class management team. The CEO is optimistic that this will allow the company to compete hand in hand in the dry bulk market fundamentals. As part of the restructuring process, Eagle Bulk Shipping closed on a $275 million new financing deal that is made of $225 million in term loan and $50 million in revolving credit facility.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Zoullas could not hide his joy after the completion of the process consequently thanking the company\u2019s transition for making it easy for the reorganization plan to come to a successful completion. The CEO has reiterated that Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc. (NASDAQ:EGLE) employees remain committed to working tirelessly in transforming the company\u2019s fortunes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Terms of the New Financing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Eagle Bulk Shipping Inc.(NASDAQ:EGLE) was given permission to re-organize financially after a court filing in the United States Bankruptcy Court received unanimous support from the company\u2019s secured lenders. Terms of reorganization involved lenders agreeing to convert all their debt to 99.5% of the new company\u2019s total equity.
