It is built on the \u201ctribologically modified acetal\u201d platform. The newly introduced speciality material will allow companies to manufacture moulded parts via the injection process. These parts would be able to work on fewer fractions and also withstand more ware and tare. It is also expected to operate at less energy requirement levels. When used intelligently, the new compound is expected to help manufacture products which are less noisy and generate less heat, due to the special properties of the compound.<\/p>\n<p>Advanced broadband semiconductor and software solutions provider <strong>Ikanos Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:IKAN)<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/ikanos-to-showcase-latest-innovations-in-broadband-access-and-the-connected-home-at-broadband-world-forum-2014-2014-10-14\">announced<\/a> on 14th October that it will be unveiling its latest product offerings in the \u201cultra-broadband access and gateway solutions\u201d product buckets on October 21 in Amsterdam. The new product releases are linked to the \u201cin-home diagnostics and network analytics\u201d capable devices which are needed in developing the Internet of things and smart home scenarios. The products would be made public during the 14th Annual Broadband World Forum conference the company noted.
