The patent being sought is for the process of eliminating \u201ccombusting coal emissions containing CO2\u201d when it is processed in a secondary \u201cpost combustion chamber\u201d fuelled by MagneGas\u00ae. The patent application has been filed under the subject line of \u201cUtilising synergistic mixture of fuel to produce energy and reduce emissions in boilers\u201d. The \u201cpioneer patent\u201d application attempts to further strengthen its case over and above its claims made in its \u201cprovisional patent\u201d application. In order to execute this project, the two firms had created a Joint Venture Vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Financial services major <strong>Synchrony Financial (NYSE:SYF),<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/synchrony-financial-and-reeds-jewelers-to-launch-private-label-credit-card-program-2014-10-09\">announced<\/a> on 9th October that it has signed a multi-year agreement with family-owned jewellery chain REEDS Jewelers, Inc. The two firms have tied up to offer to its loyal customers a \u201cprivate label credit card\u201d. The card would help customers pay for their purchase across the 59 retail stores run by REEDS Jewelers, Inc. in more than 13 states of U.S. The yet to be introduced credit cards would be branded as REEDS Jewelers Card. It is expected to be issued to customers on 1st March 2015. The card would entitle customers to a assured line of credit in addition to spectrum of \u201cspecial financing options.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Salem Communications Corporation (NASDAQ:SALM)<\/strong> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketwired.com\/press-release\/senior-salem-communications-executive-retiring-nasdaq-salm-1956190.htm\">announced<\/a> on 9th October that its senior executive, Mr. Greg Anderson currently serving as President of the group\u2019s Salem Radio Network has decided to retire. The retirement date is likely to be December 31, 2014.
