It is an \u201cintegrated site controller\u201d which meshes in the most sought after features of its popular Ruby2 POS system with that of Commander Site Controller. The product is targeted at small and medium sized retail stores and petrol stalls which are on the lookout for an integrated system. The system will connect the Point of sales, payment moduels, and fuel container systems with each other and thus help generate a standardized payments infrastructure for EMV. Previously, commercial establishments were forced to run Commander and Ruby2 in tandem and try to integrate the two manually.<\/p>\n<p>Security software solutions and services provider <strong>Viscount Systems (OTCQB:VSYS) <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.businesswire.com\/news\/home\/20141008005672\/en\/Viscount-Systems-Awarded-U.S.-Patent-Freedom-Security#.VDZdAKhlG_Q\">announced<\/a> \u00a0on 8th October that it has received patent approval for its proprietary IP encryption bridge from the U.S patent office. The new bridge would be used in tandem with the \u201cphysical security system architecture of the Freedom Access Control solution\u201d. The security solution provider in its press release noted that this patent win is a big milestone in its evolution as a \u201caccess control systems\u201d solution provider. The encryption bridge has been assigned U.S Patent #8,836,470.<\/p>\n<p>Packet-optical solutions and network solutions provider <strong>Cyan Inc (NYSE:CYNI)<\/strong> announced on 8th October that it would be providing support for the \u201cASR 901, ASR 903, ASR 9000 and ME 3600 platforms\u201d which are released from the Cisco Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:CSCO) stable. It has also disclosed that it would be supporting \u201cMX960, MX480, and MX2010 platforms\u201d marketed by the Juniper Networks, Inc. (NYSE:JNPR). The above products would be certified to work with Cyan Inc (NYSE:CYNI) recently released Blue Planet SDN Platform.
