(NASDAQ:AAPL)<\/strong> seems to have lured teenagers in a more overwhelming way than ever, according to a recent survey.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As a cnet article highlights the fascination of teenagers, it has been established that Apple has gone a long way in winning young hearts. According to Piper Jaffray&#8217;s recent survey, called \u201cTaking Stock With Teens,\u201d teenagers continue to vote increasingly in favor of iPhones over other available smartphones. The outcome of the latest survey was compared with those obtained from an earlier survey which was conducted in April. Surprisingly, the number of teenagers who want an iPhone as their next phone and also those who currently possessed an iPhone, has gone up significantly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Survey Results <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the April survey, 67% had voted for iPhone as their choice for their next phone. This figure has now risen up to as much as 73%. In addition, 61% of the teenage population surveyed had said that their current phone was an Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) product. In contrast, now 67% teenagers own an iPhone currently. For the crowd that calls itself anti-Apple, the survey pointed out that only 19% want to own an Android phone next. The same figure was up by 5% in the April survey. However, Blackberry lovers are still settled at the 1% figure that was noted in April.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Piper Jaffray\u2019s survey also highlighted that Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)\u2019s tablets are not so popular among teenagers as <strong>Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)<\/strong>\u2019s tablets, particularly Microsoft Surface. 10% already owned a Windows tablet and another 19% aimed at it as their next tablet. N this context, an interesting observation surfaced that the surveyed community preferred a Windows tablet over iPad Mini or Android tablet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Interesting Findings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The survey, which was conducted between Aug 25 and Sept 30, involved as many as 7,200 teenagers of the average age of 16 years. Another important highlight of the survey was in regards of the social networking website, <strong>Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB)<\/strong>.
