The company offered the tender to purchase $1.175 billion of 9% senior secured notes due in 2018 (2018 Notes) and 9.25% senior secured notes due in 2020 (2020 Notes), which was due to expire by the end of October 1, 2014.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cemex SAB de CV (ADR) (NYSE:CX) issued the 2018 Notes and its associate Cemex Espa\u00f1a, S.A. issued the 2020 Notes. Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner &amp; Smith Incorporated (MLPF&amp;S) and J.P. Morgan Securities LLC became the dealer manager and D.F. King &amp; Co., Inc. remained as the tender and information agent for the tender offer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The transaction<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As of October 1, 2014, a total of $592.67 million of 2018 Notes and $365.221 million of 2020 Notes tendered through the offer. It also includes the early settlement (September 18, 2014) of $592.470 million of 2018 Notes and $365.146 million of 2020 Notes.\u00a0 Prior to the expiration data, Cemex SAB de CV (ADR) (NYSE:CX) also accepted additional notes $200,000 of 2018 Notes and $75,000 of 2020 Notes, which expired by the end of September 17, 2014 (Early tender date).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After the early tender date and at\/ prior to expiration date of the tender offer, the holders of additional notes will receive an extra amount for the purchase of additional principal amount. For instance, in 2018 Notes, holders will receive $1,040 per $1,000 principal amount and similarly in 2020 Notes, holders will receive $1,068.75 per $1,000 of the principal amount.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The final settlement date for the additional payment expired on October 2, 2014.
