The company would be providing electric power to Essar Steel. Therefore, the more delay on the part of Essar Steel would result in a company being deprived of revenue through electric power supply.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Refinancing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to a <a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/minnesota-power-applauds-essar-steel-224000498.html\" target=\"_blank\">statement<\/a> issued by Minnesota Power, Essar Steel\u2019s refinancing would allow them to complete the construction of its open-pit steel ore mine crushing, palletizing and concentrating facilities. Minnesota Power said that it would serve Essar Steel\u2019s project with electric power by a contract with the Nashwauk Public Utilities Commission through municipal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Once Essar Steel would be able to produce to its full capacity, i.e. seven million tons, it would require approximately 110 MW of electricity. By comparison, the electricity consumption would be much more than the consumption of the full city of Superior, Wisconsin. The company was supplying electric power to 144,000 residents in 16 municipalities apart from some of the big industrial customers in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Al Hodnik, Chairman, President and CEO of ALLETE Inc (NYSE:ALE), said that Essar has its full confidence. The company was excited about the creation of job and economic stimulus that the project would bring to the region. As an industrial power supplier, he said the company was pleased to see the project moving ahead.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Solar Energy At Camp Ripley<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Earlier in August, <a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/minnesota-power-joins-forces-military-123000380.html\" target=\"_blank\">Minnesota<\/a> Power and the Minnesota National Guard struck a memorandum of understanding indicating its plan to construct a 10-megawatt utility-scale solar power collection at the central Minnesota camp. It was the biggest solar power installation on a military property in the State.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company stated that the utility would also spot the ways to assist Camp
