As per the information, TRQ, the Government of Mongolia and Rio Tinto are looking forward to working with each other in order to sort out all the current shareholder matters. The road to further development of underground mine at Oyu Tolgoi and arranging proper project finance for this can only open once all the current shareholder matters are sorted out.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Road so far:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All three parties have come together and discuss all the possible solutions for this problem. Although they indulged into verbal discussions for many a times, but no resolution for outstanding matters had been passed till September 30, 2014. It is the current expiration date for the project finance lender commitments. Parties have met with a financial institution for a couple of times, but still no plea has been made in order to extend the date of lender commitments.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Turquoise Hill Resources Ltd (NYSE:TRQ) is quite hopeful about the development of underground work at Oyu Tolgoi, which is subjected to various things. For example, clearance of existing shareholder matters, agreement of project financing plan, approval of feasibility study by Mongolian Minerals Council &amp; shareholders and a few necessary permits. If everything goes as per plans, then only the final development work of underground mine can be started. On the basis of current progress, all the shareholders will take into consideration the timing of the request made in front of the financial institution for project finance. TRQ has been actively working as one of the top-notched international mining company with 100% focus on coal mines and copper gold. It runs its operations in Mongolia and has 66% interest in the Oyu Tolgoi gold-copper-silver mine.
