Daniels is the former CEO and Chairman of Mobile 365. After his inclusion in board of directors of BBRY, total number of directors have become seven, out of whom six are independent.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Background of Daniels: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As per the information revealed by the company, Daniels has a rich industry experience and can surely add value to BBRY&#8217;s long term vision and growth mission. He held various senior management leadership positions at Science Applications International Corporation 1986-2004. After a successful run at SAIC, he joined Mobile 365 as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. He remained on the same position until it was sold to Sybase in 2006. After the sale transaction of Mobile 365, he joined Sybase as the Director of operations and remained on that position from 2007 to 2010. Other than these handful runs at Mobile 365 and Sybase, he also served in other companies as a senior management executive. Some of the other important positions that he held previously include director of Apogen Technologies, VeriSign and Telcordia Technologies and Chairman of GlobalLogic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">BlackBerry Ltd (NASDAQ:BBRY) also stated that Daniel currently serves on Mercury Systems&#8217; board of directors. It is a well-known company in the field of secure sensor processing systems for defense and commercial applications.
