(NASDAQ:VRNG)<\/strong> has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.marketwatch.com\/story\/vringo-issues-statement-regarding-forthcoming-patent-trial-against-zte-in-the-united-kingdom-2014-09-24\" target=\"_blank\">issued<\/a> a statement regarding its patent infringement trials in United Kingdom. As per the reports, ZTE filed a wrong press release about the company, which led to an unexpected fight between VRNG and ZTE.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Management Call:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to David Cohen, Chief Legal and Intellectual Property Officer of Vringo, Inc. (NASDAQ:VRNG), licensing and litigation of the intellectual property is the most important thing for VRNG. While interviewing, he told reporters that the entire management team was surprised to see any company making wrong comments about VRNG publically. Whatever public comments that ZTE made about VRNG, affected its market image and trust of investors over the company. It was very important to set the record straight and clarify all the matters openly so that investors could regain their confidence in the company once again.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Vringo, Inc. (NASDAQ:VRNG) alleged infringement of six patents in United Kingdom, which included P919, EP029, EP589, EP933, EP212 and EP119. The first trial on EP919 is scheduled to take place in the month of October. The trial of EP029 was ordered right away, but due to an agreement of both the parties, it would be deferred until a later date. The court has adjourned the trials of EP119, EP933 and EP212 till 2015, which means trial of these three patents would take place in the first half of 2015. When it comes to EP589, both the parties agreed earlier this year to remove all the validity claims and infringements that were put on EP589. Cohen said that VRNG was looking forward to trials against the UK subsidiary of ZTE that would take place in October 2014, and in the first half of 2015. Apart from ZTE UK, Vringo, Inc.
