T-Mobile is the first company to offer Single Radio Voice Call Continuity (eSRVCC) technology to the American customers.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Integration<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">T-Mobile allows its customers to access VoLTE services on their existing 2G and 3G networks. But, it remains critical to access the same services in LTE network. Therefore, T-Mobile selected Ericsson, who has a strong hold over LTE network and also supported voice using eSRVCC technology through Ericsson (ADR) (NASDAQ:ERIC)\u2019s Media Resource System (MRS) and Session Border Gateway (SBG).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">So, the association will help T-Mobile to expand the availability of high-quality VoLTE services and also enable the customers to access the LTE network for their data services along with the voice call. It will also help to improve the network performance in the highway and rural region.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The contract with Ericsson is an extension of the 2012 network transformation projects. It includes base station equipment (RBS 6000), installation and integration of advanced radio sites and tuning services.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The recent engagement will integrate T-Mobile&#8217;s existing Evolved Packet Core network infrastructure and IP Multimedia System with Ericsson\u2019s LTE network.
