This included over 7,400 families covering 29,700 low-income Americans in the State of Maryland. The facility is available in the District of Columbia and 39 States.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The program was meant about transforming lives apart from stimulating a fresh set of leaders of a new generation to be ready digitally to gain tools and information that every student needed to succeed in the current century. Through the broadband Internet at home, kids, as well as, parents would be connected to their homework and teachers and schools.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As part of its celebration of kick-starting the fourth year of Internet Essentials, the company has conducted a special event in Baltimore\u2019s Digital Harbor Foundation to increase the awareness on the need to close the digital divide.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Comcast Corporation (NASDAQ:CMCSA)\u00a0has recently disclosed an amnesty scheme for some low-income families despite having past dues of over one-year old to be able to enjoy Internet Essentials program.
