They were the two persons to acquire the shares in the current month.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Buys Shares<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Opexa Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:OPXA)\u2019s Director, Timothy, was the most recent person to acquire 10,000 shares on September 17 at the rate of $1.15 a share, according to a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sec.gov\/Archives\/edgar\/data\/1069308\/000114036114035926\/xslF345X03\/doc1.xml\" target=\"_blank\">Form 4 filed<\/a> with the Securities and Exchange Commission on September 18. This has tightened his purse by $11,500. It meant that he has paid seven cents a share more than the company\u2019s lowest price of $1.08 in the last 52-week period. Alternatively, the Director has paid 6.5% premium.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">However, based on the one-year high price of $2.56, the purchase price represented a discount of 55.1%. The latest purchase has improved the Director\u2019s holding to 16,000 shares in the company, which was worth $17,920.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Only the previous day, i.e. on September 16, Opexa Therapeutics CEO has purchased 10,000 shares at the rate of $1.11 a share, as per the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasdaq.com\/symbol\/opxa\/insider-trades\" target=\"_blank\">data from Nasdaq<\/a>. This has lifted his direct holding in the company to 107,634 shares valued approximately $120550.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>One-Year Insider Trading<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There were only two buying activities in the last three-month period, and that has happened only in September. Before this, Timothy has purchased 6,000 shares from non-open market on March 19. Therefore, only 20,000 shares were acquired by the insiders during the three-month period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Similarly, for the 52-week period, there were fourteen transactions of insider trading activities, and everything was related to purchasing of 538,995 shares. The fact that there were no sellers in the last one-year period indicates the confidence that the insiders have in\u00a0Opexa Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:OPXA) product pipeline.
