As a result, the product has come back to the market after 12 years of gap thus bringing back the memories of 1990s.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Availability<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">There were 128,000 members of \u2018Surge Movement\u2019 in the <strong>Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB)<\/strong> Fan site clamoring for its return and they have even put a billboard in Atlanta, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/2014-09-15\/coca-cola-brings-back-surge-soda-to-tap-1990s-nostalgia.html?cmpid=yhoo\" target=\"_blank\">Bloomberg<\/a> reported. The result was that the product became available in <strong>Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN)<\/strong> from Monday. The company too came forward to provide an account for the drink in <strong>Twitter Inc (NYSE:TWTR)<\/strong> so that its supporters can follow the Surge journey.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As the news spread, loyalists wanted the readers to buy and also spread the word. The movement said that it was not the end of the road without elaborating further.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Though the company\u2019s spokesperson refused to spell out as the quantity that it has produced in the initial stages, its official in North America termed the recent developments as a great learning experience and inspirational opportunities for its fans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Pricing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Surge soda would be sold in a pack of 12 with 16-ounce cans for $14. The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO) has indicated that it would extend the brand to other retails also depending upon the reaction of consumers. It also said that it would also add its campaign once it gets a favorable reaction.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Will It Help?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company has been struggling to maintain its forte for decades in the face of some tough competition from <strong>PepsiCo, Inc. (NYSE:PEP)<\/strong>. The Coca-Cola Company (NYSE:KO) had launched its Surge brand in 1996, and the last of its cans and bottles were supplied to the retailers in 2001.
