The conference was held to announce the sale of 737 MAX planes to Ryanair Holdings Plc, an Irish low-cost airline. The sale is due to start in 2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As Reuters <a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/boeing-feels-strong-pressure-increase-195742014.html\">reported<\/a>, Conner\u2019s statement hints at the probability that the company would seek to surge rates higher than the present targets. In his comment, Conner said that the current target is to manufacture as many as 47 numbers of 737 MAX planes per month. The production is scheduled to commence in 2017, but the company fears that the demand too high to be fulfilled by the currently set target.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Favorable Choice\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">At present The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA) makes 42 437 planes every month in its Renton, Washington-based facility. It uses fuselage sections manufactured by Spirit AeroSystems Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:SPR) in Wichita, Kansas. But Spirit supports capacity to produce more than 47 airplanes a month.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The 737 Max planes are intended to stand against the Airbus Group Sa A320 series of single-aisle carriers. In this context, Boeing\u2019s Chief Financial Officer, Greg Smith, had also hinted at increasing product rates of the airplanes. In August, he had informed that the company was discussing whether to increase the number of units to 52 per month.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is anticipated that Boeing would benefit from increased production rates of the 437 airplanes because it would allow airlines to acquire the planes earlier. However, this is not the case with the production of its other model, the widebody 787 airplane. The Boeing Company (NYSE:BA)\u00a0is dealing with production issues with the second model, and hence does not seek to raise production rates from the current 12 per
