The new look would also feature in-flight magazine and other materials. Southwest has also formed a new ad campaign.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Southwest chose to deliver its aircrafts a livery as the company starts international flights, after gaining freedom from government restraints on its Dallas Schedule. The new paint scheme, which the company has named \u2018Heart,\u2019 will replace the airlines\u2019 current aircrafts\u2019 paints. The company plans to complete the task within a specified schedule and seeks to deliver the new aircrafts with the new look.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The company unveiled the new livery yesterday to a group of hundreds of its employees in a storage place at its headquarters near the Dallas Love Field. The new look features blue as the dominant color, but colors like red and yellow are also swooshed on the planes\u2019 tails and wing tips. Along the side of the fuselage, \u201cSouthwest\u201d is printed in big letters.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Southwest Airlines Co (NYSE:LUV) flies all-Boeing 737 airplanes, and the fuselage of the aircrafts are produced at Spirit AeroSystems holdings, Inc. (NYSE:SPR) in Wichita. The airline commenced service last year, out of Wichita mid-Continent Airport. As <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/wichita\/blog\/2014\/09\/southwest-airlines-gets-a-new-look-slideshow.html\">Bizjournals reports<\/a>, Southwest has been engaged with branding firms to work on the project. The firms that were involved are Camelot Communications, Razorfish, LLC, VML, Inc., Lippincott Williams &amp; Wilkins, GSD&amp;M.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Highlighting Objectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Southwest\u2019s Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Kevin Krone, said that with the project, the company seeks to highlight the elements of Southwest that are appreciated by its employees and customers. In addition, the airline aimed at giving a more modern expression to its future, with the new changes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Apart from the phased, more cost efficient approach to the new paint scheme, Southwest Airlines Co (NYSE:LUV) also plans to give a renovated look to the ticket counter and gate.
