The open market transaction has lifted his holding in the company.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Buy Shares<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lewis Pell, Vision-Sciences, Inc. (NASDAQ:VSCI) Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, had purchased a total of 30K shares on September 2 and 3. While he had bought 20K shares at the rate of $0.9783 a share by paying $19.6K on September 2, the Director had acquired another 10Kshare at an average price of $0.9979 by shelling of $9.7K on September 3, the Company\u2019s Form 4 filing with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sec.gov\/Archives\/edgar\/data\/894237\/000143774914016478\/xslF345X03\/rdgdoc.xml\">Securities and Exchange Commission<\/a> suggested.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While the buying price suggested 28.2% premium from the yearly lower price of $0.768, it had paid a discount of close to 43% to acquire the shares by the insiders. As a result of these 30K shares by the Chairman of the company, his direct holding had increased to 8.71 million shares in the company. He also has 50K shares holding in his spouse name and 43.5K shares in a Trust name.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lewis Pell had purchased 133,820 shares in August alone through fourteen transactions. He had paid about $125K to buy these shares. The volume ranged between 400 shares and 22500 shares while price ranged between $0.8976 and $1.05, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasdaq.com\/symbol\/vsci\/insider-trades\">Nasdaq data indicated<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>One-Year Insider Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the last three-month period, there were 21 transactions of insider trading. Of this, 19 belonged to buying activities while two represented sale activities. Insiders have purchased a total of nearly 254K shares compared to the sale of 12.1K shares with net buying activity of 241.7K shares during the period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Similarly, there were 35 transactions of insider activities in the last 12-month period. While 33 transactions related to buying of approximately 1.54 million shares, two transactions of sale activities represented 12.1K shares. Thus, there was a net buying of 1.53 million shares in the last one-year period.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The strong buying activities especially by the Chairman and the CEO would suggest that Vision-Sciences, Inc.
