The company&#8217;s President and Chief Executive Officer, Dennis R. Glass would represent the company at the conference.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Mood Of The Americans<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lincoln National Corporation (NYSE:LNC)\u00a0operates into the insurance and retirement businesses through its subsidiaries and strives to understand the need of its customers. Recently, one of the company&#8217;s subsidiary, Lincoln Financial Group had reached out the beachgoers in New Jersey and surveyed them about their thoughts on retirement and how they are preparing for the same. In its survey, the company interviewed people about the ideal age for retirements and how they are saving for this goal. The survey was titled, &#8216;M.O.O.D. On The Street: Retirement&#8217;s a beach&#8217;, and included responses ranging from children to adults. The survey revealed that everyone think about retirement differently. Most of the survey takers considered retirement as phase to enjoy and do things they were unable to do in their lives. The survey showed that eight out of ten people are optimistic about their financial future.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Professional Advice Holds Value<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While most of the respondents were not aware of the exact amount of retirement corpus, but all of them do agree on the fact of saving early. In addition to this, more of the people agreed that seeking professional advice for building financial future has value. There was clearly a difference in the varying needs of the respondents with respect to what they expect from financial professionals. Some needed more of a guidance about the direction of their financial planning, while others wanted a more comprehensive solution for their retirement like in terms of quantum of savings and strategies.
