Jeff also said that the objective of the state government was very clear. The state-government emphasized on employment improvement, education as well as health opportunities for the residents of Aurukun through revealing the economic potential of the bauxite deposit.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Queensland government selected Glencore for tech and financial strength:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Queensland government after discussing with multiple prospective developers disclosed that Glencore to be the best place in terms of financial strength, as well as technical abilities. The government finally preferred the multinational company to take up the challenge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Jeff, the Deputy Premier and Minister added:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jeff also said that government has learned from the previous experience and decided not to repeat the mistake again, where the companies that were offered the rights were unable to fulfill their commitments. Glencore International PLC, St. Helier (OTCMKTS:GLNCY) was among the five shortlisted companies placing bids for the Aurukun development. In the process, Rio Tinto and Chinalco pulled out themselves, while Cape Alumina was unsuccessful to deliver the bid.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Commercial agreement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Glencore International PLC, St. Helier (OTCMKTS:GLNCY) and state government will initially work together to finalize the commercial
