Many of the national and state medical professionals have formed groups to protest against <a href=\"http:\/\/www.desertsun.com\/story\/news\/health\/2014\/08\/27\/coachella-valley-tenet-hospitals\/14715607\/\" target=\"_blank\">THC<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>What&#8217;s THC Up To: \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Tenet Healthcare Corp (NYSE:THC) has planned to enter into an agreement with a large outside company for hospitalists, anesthesiologists and emergency room doctors. Right now a lot of local doctors are providing their services in Tenet-operated Desert Regional Medical Center in John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital. Main services include pain medication for surgery, trauma care and in-hospital care. If the deal between THC and the outside company gets executed, then it will replace all the current doctors with the one sourced from the other company. There are several hundred people who will get affected by this deal.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The only way by which these doctors can try to stop it is but the unified protest. According to Dr. Marc Futernick, President-elect of California chapter of the American College of Emergency Physician, &#8220;The only hope that we have is that if we speak in a unified voice, then things can change. Unity has power and it can work for us.&#8221; There are a lot of healthcare professionals who earn their living through rendering services at Tenet Healthcare Corp (NYSE:THC), and if they are replaced by the company then, it will create a survival problem for them. The management of THC is not ready to listen to healthcare professionals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Futernick said that only medical staff of a healthcare center could tell if there was any need of change or not, but the management of THC announced a complete turnover even without discussing their plans. Although Rich Ramhoff, spokesman of Desert Regional had a different opinion.
