(NYSE:CRM)<\/strong> will now become Salesforce1 Community Cloud, the company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pcworld.com\/article\/2599520\/salesforce-renames-and-revamps-communities-service.html\" target=\"_blank\">announced<\/a> the changes that also go beyond mere renaming to include revamping of the product. The company released various updates to the service, which include topic pages, profile and mobile access. The tool is mainly used by companies that aim to build a platform where customers, partners and employees can collaborate and mingle.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>ESN service and competition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Communities, which now becomes Safeforce1 Community Cloud, has more than 2,000 communities running on it, and the number is expected to increase as more companies harness the power of enterprise social networking (ESN). As a matter of fact, IDC experts project that the market of ESN will increase by more than 23% annually to $3.5 billion by 2018 from the current market of $1.24 billion. However, there is also competition among ESN providers, and that explains why Salesforce.com, inc. (NYSE:CRM) has moved to revamp its service. The other providers of ESN include <strong>Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFT)<\/strong>, IBM, <strong>Jive Software Inc (NASDAQ:JIVE)<\/strong>, Zimbra, SAP and <strong>Tibco Software Inc. (NASDAQ:TIBX)<\/strong>. Those are among the big ESN vendors, and there are also small rivals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to Salesforce.com, inc. (NYSE:CRM) officials, ESN is a real battleground for companies to engage customers. Salesforece has GE Capital, British Sky Broadcasting and Cornell University as some of the organizations using its ESN service. The agenda is to attract more users and even get them enjoying unparalleled services on the platform.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Price maintained<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The enriched Salesforce1 Community Cloud gives a great experience for employees, customers and partners to view activity stream, share documents, post updates and collaborate in a number of ways. The mobile aspect of the service makes it easy to build the site into responsive designs that fit into different display sizes. Salesforce.com, inc.
