The reason for doing so is because the company doubts potential problems with the assembly of steering gear. A notice for the same was sent to the dealers all over.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>No Affected Vehicle Sold<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The spokeswoman of Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) said that the company has not sold any of the affected vehicles to its customers. She added that 32 such vehicles were still on the dealer lots. Remaining 616 vehicles, she added, which possibly have the defect in steering gear were in transit to the Ford dealers. The company said, Thursday afternoon that after confirmation of the same, these vehicles have been recalled.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Notice to the Dealers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The notice, which was also obtained by Reuters, was given to the dealers in which it was said that a few Focus and C-Max vehicles being designed and built at the Michigan Assembly Plant from August 8-15, 2014 outside Detroit, May possible have dearth of enough ball bearings during assembly of steering gear.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) said that this error of assembly could lead to degradation as well as deformation of the rest of ball bearings. This in turn, the company explained, can lead to impaired steering, which can include increased risk of crashing or loss of steering control altogether.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Vehicles Recall<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Focus and C-Max vehicles accidently infused with the assembly error shall be recalled from everywhere, the company said. Ford Motor Company (NYSE:F) said that out of all the recalled vehicles, 502 are in transit to the dealers in the States, 108 are being transported to Canada and six of these models are in transit to the federalized territories of the U.S. The dealers, in turn shall be made responsible for replacing this steering gear before make sale or test drive of Focus and C-Max
