In other words, they seek to take any decision on the basis of their rival&#8217;s decision. Introduction of fresh food in place of packed snacks and reduced airfare are two such decisions. The introduction of fixed airfare by <strong>American Airlines Group Inc (NASDAQ:AAL)<\/strong> is one more competitive step taken by AAL. Reports claim that AAL has decided to raise the age limit of unaccompanied minors. From now onwards, it will charge <a href=\"http:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/markets\/2014\/08\/21\/american-airlines-raises-age-unaccompanied-minors-will-charge-for-those-up-to\/\" target=\"_blank\">$150 fee<\/a> each way for those minor kids who are between 12 and 14 and often fly alone.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The road so far: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is not the first time that an airline has decided to introduce a fixed fare; others have done it in the past. The fix fare rate of each airline varies from the other one.\u00a0American Airlines Group Inc (NASDAQ:AAL) charges unaccompanied minors between 5 and 11 with a fee on top of the regular fare, but now it will be changed. Most of the people in USA welcomed this step by saying that it would not only match the US Airways, but also ensure the safest journey for kids. Both of these airlines merged together in the month of December for enhancement of services.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">According to the data report, Delta airline charges $100 each way for those 5 to 14, while United Airlines charges $150 each way for minors who are between 5 to 11. The last airline in this list is Southwest airline that charges $50 each time from kids age between 5 to 11 and JetBlue charges $100 each way for those kids who are between 5 to 14-year-old.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">American Airlines Group Inc (NASDAQ:AAL)\u00a0recently announced its financial results which showed how fruitful last few months have been for the company. The management of the airlines is very confident and looking forward to introducing some more changes to make services more attractive than the
