During the second quarter ended August 2, 2014, the company managed to broaden its gross margin figures by 220 basis points to reach 34.6%, over and above the 32.4% figure, a similar-period year ago. It can be contributed to the company&#8217;s dedication to concentrate growth on higher margin brands, as well as higher margin routes of distribution.
